Information to Prepare Before Requesting a Quote

Roller manufacturing equipment is selected around the actual workpiece and production process. Providing the following information reduces repeated communication and helps us evaluate the machine size, tooling, electrical configuration and level of automation.

1. Required Manufacturing Process

Tell us which operation is required: pipe or tube cutting, double-end boring, welding, pressing, shaft cutting, double-end milling or shaft drilling. If several processes are required, we can evaluate a coordinated group of machines or a more complete roller production line.

2. Tube or Shaft Diameter Range

Provide the minimum and maximum outside diameter of the tube or shaft. Diameter affects the clamping system, spindle arrangement, tooling and overall machine configuration. For tube processing, please also provide the wall thickness.

3. Workpiece Length Range

Provide the shortest and longest workpiece to be processed. The required length range affects the machine bed, loading method, positioning system and factory floor space. A drawing is helpful when the workpiece has special end structures or multiple length specifications.

4. Material and Technical Drawing

State the tube or shaft material and grade when available. Material properties influence cutting tools, welding parameters, feed settings and cycle time. Please send a technical drawing or a clear sample photo if the part includes grooves, flats, holes, chamfers or other special features.

5. Target Production Capacity

Tell us your target output per hour or per shift. Actual production capacity depends on the workpiece diameter, length, material, processing requirements, loading method and operator arrangement. For this reason, output should be evaluated against a representative workpiece rather than treated as one fixed number for every application.

6. Industrial Voltage and Frequency

Please confirm the industrial voltage, phase and frequency used at the installation site, for example the required three-phase power supply and 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency. This information is needed before the electrical system and motor configuration are finalized.

7. Available Factory Space and Loading Preference

If factory space is limited, provide the available installation area or a simple workshop layout. Also tell us whether manual, semi-automatic or automatic loading is preferred. These details help us recommend a practical arrangement rather than only an individual machine.
